Yes, it's the dueling divas of music that are leading us to new heights in sexy, costume fashions as they try to out duel each other for the title of sexiest, hottest, most revealing outfits.

At the V Festival in Staffordshire, UK over the weekend, Perry appeared in a very sexy sparkly red hot pants, a sexy white bra top with golden sparkles topped off with strawberries that enhanced her cleavage.

Closing her set, Perry told the audience she needed to see the most beautiful lady her in the audience.

She picked a beautiful blonde woman from the front row.

She asked the beautiful blonde woman if she brought her Cherry Chapstick with her. Minutes later, Katy Perry appeared on stage with a giant Cherry Chapstick as she performed her final number - I Kissed A Girl.

Diva Show down at MTV Awards

There will certainly be a diva show down next month as the sexiest, singing divas take center stage at the MTV Music Video Awards in New York City.

Both leading singing divas Beyonce and Lady Gaga tied for nine MTA VMA Moonman nominations each.

Also scheduled to appear are sexy divas Taylor Swift, Pink and Katy Perry.

With the Video Music Awards returning to New York City, after being hosted in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, MTV has created a special video tribute for the 2009 awards, based on the classics song Tonight from the Broadway musical West Side Story.

In another portion of the video, MTV Video Music Awards host Russell Brand asks will Pink and Katy kiss, they might, Tonight.

The Night Of The Golden Popcorn

Last night at Universal City, the MTV Movie Awards were a happenin'. As celebs graced the gold carpet, it was really all about those who took home the golden bucket of popcorn. Funnyman Mike Myers hosted the soiree while big winners included Johnny Depp, who took home awards for both Pirates and Sweeney Todd, Juno's Ellen Page for Best Female Performance, Hairspray's Link Larkin (Zac Efron) for Breakout Star, Will Smith for Best Male Performance in I am Legend, Iron Man for Best Summer Movie So Far and Transformers for the Best Movie. With hot performances from Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls, the stars came out for a much-talked about awards show.

SJP channeled her inner Carrie Bradshaw with an amazing dress, jewels, ankle-high boots and Stanford, Lindsay Lohan made a glamorous appearance in purple, (she even had a Marilyn moment on the carpet!) Rihanna and "good friend" Chris Brown (after his dance off with Myers) sat very close to each other throughout the whole show, The Hills are apparently still alive, the Best Kiss awardees Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman definitely proved that they deserved the prize, Adam Sandler sang his own tribute after earning the Generation Award and Megan Fox gave the best plug for the sequel to Transformers. Overall, a very entertaining evening!

The Hills Recap

So the hour long season premiere of the Hills on Monday left me with both a bad taste and a good taste in my mouth.

1. Mariah Carey claimed that she absolutely loves watching the Hills but I refuse to believe that she's ever even seen an episode until that night.

2. Whitney and Lauren: How DARE you not know how to pronounce "Givenchy" and you're in fashion and there's a camera in your face!

3. Once the paparazzi is caught taking pics of reality stars while the reality show is being taped, its time for a series finale. Lauren's no longer a reality star she's just a celeb.(Did anyone else catch the pap-snap as the girls were leaving Colette?)


4. Mistakes of an intern (cuz nothing that they did would go down in the "Real" world!)

A. NEVER put going to pick up your dress before getting the job done!

B. NEVER stitch a designer LOAN gown and then go to a club with it on. I gagged when I saw her preparing to do this!

C. NEVER put you beauty supplies next to your designer LOAN gown. That was actually hilarious because Whitney didn't seem to care at first.

D. So now Lauren the man gives you a loan and you hop on a Vespa?? Yeah...NEVER!!! Just NEVER!!!

5. Spencer looked like he gained the marital weight before the wedding even went down!

6.What a dream to meet a semi-hot French rock-star and take mini-tours around Paris!!?? Loved the Eiffel Tower scene

7. Seemed like Lauren got to be more hands on than Whitney but I'm super happy that Whitney is finally finding her way!


8. Kimball...I love you!

9. I'm starting to feel some kind of way about Audrina because why would you make an international call just to tell your friend that the man she likes is showing off his new girlfriend?

10. Heidi's Stepdad to Spencer : "What the heck?!!!" Spencer to the Stepdad: "Yeah I'm a complete loser and it would be a much better moment if you just hit me with that shovel."

Clearly I made that up cuz Spencer's an idiot for going all the way to CO but I love Heidi for making him feel like an idiot at the dinner table with the folks!)

All in all an awesome premiere and can't wait 'til next week! The Heidi drama-train has just left the station!!

Well, she may not pop her cork at every man she sees, but Avril Lavigne certainly know how to pop open a bottle of Cristal champagne.

And pop she did, at a new years celebration at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Avril Lavigne really played up the sexy, school girl look for the new years bash.

She wore a red and black checkers plaid school micro mini skirt, white t-shirt and skull sneakers.

Avril really cut loose at the party, and really danced up a strom.

She then, counted down the minutes to the new year with husband Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley.

The Hiltons partied in the new year at the LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas.

Paris Hilton worn a very short micro mini metallic dress with a bright colorful pattern and spaghetti straps.

While, Nicky Hilton wore a plain white micro mini dress with blue hair crown.

Tila Tequile - MTV's Shot at Love host

Tila Tequila, MTV's bisexual reality dating show host, apparently loves herself more than anyone else.

So it seems, as she embraces herself with fingers in black see through lace gloves with black sequences.

Tila wore a long blue sequenced gown with bustier off the shoulder top and gathered layers at the bottom.

Her reality tv show Shot at Love topped the line up at MTV this season with more than six million viewers.

Therefore, it was no surprise that Tila Tequilia (whose real last name is Nguyen) announced at MTV New Years Eve Masquerade in Times Square that the show would return in 2008.

Tila also announced that she has split with Bobby the winner of Tila first year affections.

So, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines, Tila is on the prowl in 2008.
