Garments featuring chic tailoring, smooth fittings highlighting the female form as well as the signature neutral embellishments in rich tones of golds, imperial purples, moss greens, charcoal black and rich burgandy made up the pre-Fall Badgley Mischka collection. Ruffle and textured features cascaded down the luxurious silks and satins evident in the floor length dresses allowing the figure to be feminine but sleek. Balance was created through the luxurious yet subtle use of beading, paillette, and feather-dusted in the cocktail dresses and gowns which technique was calmed down through the feature of smooth ruffles which created character to the pieces and the overall look nicely.
